Dr. Janet Daniel is a native of Baton Rouge and has a Ph.D. in Economics from Louisiana State University. Currently, she is a Professor of Economics at Baton Rouge Community College and the Director of its Center for Economic Education. She has over 20 years of teaching experience, and has won teaching awards at both L.S.U. and B.R.C.C. Dr. Daniel has done presentations on Economics as “The Fun Science” at numerous conferences. Her presentations are designed to help teachers enable students to make sound financial decisions and to show students that Economics is interesting, understandable, and relevant to their daily lives.
