Virtual Economics --This interactive tool helps you understand the most important concepts
in economics and personal finance and find the right lessons to teach
them at your grade
level. Search a database of over 1,200 lessons by grade level, concept,
Voluntary National Content Standard in Economics or your state
economics standards. Then view and print the lessons you want. Our
glossary also puts over 500 economics terms and definitions at your
fingertips. Sign up for the on-line professional development (about 1 hour) to learn how to use VE and receive your free copy from CEE when you complete the program. For a limited time the $150 fee is covered by grant from State Farm Insurance.
Capstone--When combined with a textbook, Capstone provides activities for a complete
high school economics course. 45 exemplary lessons, over half of which are completely
new, help students learn to apply economic reasoning to a wide range of real-world
subjects—ranging from personal finance to global issues. The economic
way of thinking helps students bring logic and meaning to all high school economics
courses. Sign up for the online professional development (4-6 hours) to learn how to use Capstone and receive your free copy from CEE when you complete the program. For a limited time the $150 fee is covered by a CEE grant.
