The 45th Annual Louisiana Concil for the Social Studies Conference will be held October 6-7, 2011 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Below are important documents with more information about this year's conference. Among the speakers at this year's conference will be experts from LCEE, the Louisiana Geocgraphy Alliance, the National World War II Museum, LBP, Project Citizen, and the New Orleans Branch of the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank. Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne will be the keynote speaker on Friday, October 7th. Included in this year's conference will be a visit to the Louisiana History Museum in downtown Baton Rouge.
